Bank-Grade Encryption
Every connection to KobPaw is encrypted end-to-end with TLS. Your card numbers and bank details are tokenized by Stripe — we never store raw card data on our servers.
Double-Entry Ledger
Every dollar is tracked in an immutable double-entry ledger. Money never appears or disappears — it always moves from one named account to another, and every entry is auditable.
Fund Reservation Before Transfer
When you send or cash out money, we reserve the exact amount in a holding account before any payment is initiated. Funds can never be spent twice — even if a request fails midway.
Idempotent Payments
Every payment and cash-out carries a unique idempotency key. If your phone loses signal and you tap "Send" again, or a network retries a request, the system recognizes the duplicate and ignores it — you are never charged twice.
Race-Condition Protection
If two payments are sent from the same wallet at the exact same instant, our ledger re-verifies your balance after each transaction and reverses any transfer that would overdraw your account — so your balance can never go negative.
Row-Level Data Isolation
Your transactions, contacts, and payment methods are locked to your account at the database level. No other user — not even another logged-in customer — can read or modify your data.
Stripe-Powered Infrastructure
All card processing, bank payouts, and identity verification run on Stripe — a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider used by millions of businesses worldwide.
Webhook Idempotency & Reconciliation
When Stripe sends us payment updates (successes, refunds, failures), we log each event once. Retried notifications are skipped, so a refund or a returned cash-out is never applied twice. A scheduled reconciliation job also syncs any missed updates.
